Responsibilities

The Lube Center Manager position is responsible for providing outstanding experience for our customers and a safe, enjoyable working environment for all employees.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist and coordinate activities of workers engaged in lube and other preventive related auto services
  • Act as a working Location Manager, which means willing to act in all roles of the lube center as needed like working undert the hood, assisting the lube techs, cashiering, and greeting vehicles.
  • Inspect equipment and arrange for repair as necessary
  • Handle scheduling, training, mentoring and discipline of employees
  • Responsible for seamless and outstanding service, especially when involving customer complaints and escalating issues
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies and performing labor/good costs analysis
  • Make daily bank deposits and day-end reconciliation
  • Work closely with employees to ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Able to offer outstanding customer service

Qualifications

  • Management experience in a high volume, customer focused business, three (3) years experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  College preferred
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experienced in delivering specific performance feedback to direct reports
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Manage daily customer traffic through effective delegation
  • Bilingual in Spanish would be helpful in this position
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with staff and customers
  • Must be able to lift push, pull and bend up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to endure repetitive bending and reaching
  • Must be able to stand for long hours
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work inside and outside in extreme weather conditions
  • Must be flexible and able to work weekends
  • Must have reliable transportation
